The first release.
Available on the Mac App Store. Requires macOS 14 or later. The listing still carries the app's previous name, BIT Call Intelligence, until the next update is approved.
Recording and transcription
- Records the meeting app's audio and your microphone when it detects a meeting in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, Slack or Discord, or a Google Meet, Zoom, Webex or Teams meeting in a browser tab
- Manual recording with ⌘⇧R for anything else, from the microphone
- Transcription on the device with Whisper, in your choice of Tiny, Base or Small English models
Coach and notes
- Coach: suggested questions, open points and commitments during the call, refreshed about every 30 seconds in its own window, using your agenda if you add one
- Notes after the call: summary, decisions, action items and open questions, with the full transcript, editable in the Library
- Coach and notes through Ollama on the Mac, your own OpenAI or Anthropic account, or a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint
Meeting history and exports
- The Library: every recorded meeting searchable by title, summary and transcript, with rename, tags, reveal in Finder and delete
- Markdown export of each meeting to a folder you choose, organised by year and month
- Regenerate notes or re-transcribe from audio for any meeting; interrupted recordings are recovered on the next launch
Dictation
- Hold ⌥Space to dictate, or tap to dictate hands-free; audio is processed in memory and not written to disk
- In this App Store build the recognised text is placed on the clipboard for you to paste with ⌘V
Setup and purchase
- A first-launch setup covering consent, permissions, the speech model, the AI provider, the export folder and dictation, resumable across relaunches
- Three free meetings and 25 free dictations, then a one-time in-app purchase; App Sandbox, hardened runtime and a privacy manifest
Data handling
- Audio and transcripts stay on the Mac. Transcript text is sent to a provider only if you choose OpenAI, Anthropic or a custom endpoint for Coach or notes
- The in-app Send Feedback form sends your message to BITSUMMIT, with app and macOS version details for bug reports and logs only if you opt in; see the privacy policy
Availability. A direct-download version, with dictation that can insert text automatically, is in preparation and is not yet released. An update carrying the NoteHand name on the App Store has been submitted to Apple and will appear here when it is released.
