Your meeting history, on your Mac

Browse your recorded meetings by title and date. Open a meeting to review its notes and transcript. Search covers titles, note summaries and the full transcript text.

Files in your folder, a record in the app

The app keeps its own record of each meeting in its local storage, and writes a Markdown copy to your export folder for editing, sharing and backup. Deleting a meeting in the Library removes the recording, transcript, notes and the exported file from your Mac.

Moving to a new Mac

Migration Assistant carries the app's storage across with the rest of your user data, and your exported files travel with your folder. Check the Library after migrating, and restore your purchase from Settings › About.

Questions

The ones we get asked about the Library.

What does search include?

Meeting titles, the summary in the notes, and the full transcript text. The demo on this page searches the sample meetings the same way.

Does deleting a meeting remove the exported file?

Yes. Delete removes the recording, transcript and notes from the app's storage and the Markdown file from your export folder. Copies you made elsewhere, or that a sync service already uploaded, are not touched.

If I edit an exported file, does the Library change?

No. The Library shows the app's own copy. Edit the exported file for your follow-up; the record in the app stays as generated.

What happens when I change the export folder?

New meetings are written to the new folder. Files already written stay where they are.

Does search leave the Mac?

No. The search index is part of the app's local storage.

Can meetings I did not record appear here?

No. The Library lists meetings recorded with NoteHand on this Mac.
