How it works
Help during the call. Notes when it ends. Search when you need it again.
Catch the question you meant to ask.
A budget comes up, but nobody names the approver. Coach flags the open point while you still have time to ask. It suggests questions and tracks commitments as the conversation develops, with your agenda as context.
Suggestions refresh about every 30 seconds. Explore Coach · See how this lands in the notes
Illustrative example. Drag the timeline or press play; the four marks are selected Coach updates from a 47-minute call.
Know what was agreed and who's doing what.
After the call, NoteHand generates a summary with decisions, action items and open questions. Review the details, make any edits and use the notes for your follow-up. The transcript is included when you need more context.

Transcription runs on your Mac. With a local model through Ollama, Coach and notes run there too. If you choose OpenAI or Anthropic, transcript text goes directly to that provider under your account, with separate usage charges. NoteHand doesn't send them the audio. If you export to a synced folder, your chosen sync service handles those files.

Built for the client calls we make every day.
We built NoteHand at BITSUMMIT, an IT and security services company in Toronto and Halifax. We wanted useful meeting notes while keeping control of our client conversations. We use it for client calls, vendor reviews and internal meetings.
